current status overview of the new WCO numbers starting in 2022.

The status overview contains the following countries:

EU, DE, GB, USA, RS, NZ

EU - Import:

The updates for the EU-Taric data are running daily.

Currently, no official retariffing data is available from the authorities.

We are working out the retariffing data based on the WCO concordance.

So you can already use these retariffing files in your GTS.

As soon as these new numbers are published, we will deliver them to your download portal in a new retariffing file.

DE - Import:

The updates for the DE data are also running daily. The new commodity codes for 2022 are already included in the DE data.

Currently, no official retariffing data is available from the authorities.

As with the EU data, we are working on the retariffing data based on the WCO concordance, which you can then already use in your GTS.

We expect the official retariffing data to be published by the end of January 2022. As soon as these new numbers are published, we will deliver them to your download portal in a new retariffing file.

USA:

On December 17, 2021, U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) informed the public via the Cargo Systems Messaging Service (CSMS) that the Harmonized Tariff Schedule (HTS) update will not take effect on January 1, 2022.

As CBP notes, it is "awaiting formal direction for this update to be implemented by Presidential Proclamation and published in the Federal Register." In the meantime, CBP "will continue to use the current harmonized tariff schedule and encourages the trade community to do likewise, pending further guidance."

RS (Serbia):

The new commodity codes for Serbia are already officially published, but currently not bilingual, only available in Serbian (Cyrillic).

We are releasing the new data based on the Serbian version, an English version will be delivered as soon as it is published by the authorities.

Note: There might be differences between the Serbian and the English version, possibly also the commodity numbers differ here.

NZ (New Zealand):

The update data for the new commodity codes New Zealand are already available from the authorities. PST.AG is already working on the conversion to the new data.

However, the changeover is a very extensive update, which affects a large number of statistical codes.

As soon as the new numbers are completely available, we will deliver them in a new to your download portal.
