New Open General Export Licence published and 26 OGELs updated
The Department for International Trade has published a new open general export licence (OGEL): information security items. Kinross Gold Charged With FCPA Violations
The Canada-based gold mining company agreed to pay a $950,000 penalty to resolve Foreign Corrupt Practices Act (FCPA) violations arising from its repeated failure to implement adequate accounting controls of two subsidiaries in Africa. New duties for 1300 goods from China
Yesterday, the Office of the United States Trade Representative (USTR) published a list of Chinese goods on which additional duties can be imposed. The proposed list covers approximately 1,300 separate tariff lines and will undergo further review in a public notice and comment process, including a hearing.
