UK schedules release of new sanctions list
Although European Union sanctions continue to apply in the United Kingdom until 23:00 GMT on 31st December 2020, the UK has established a new sanctions list under under the Sanctions and Anti-Money Laundering Act 2018 (Sanctions Act). Currently the list is populated with designations under the new global human rights sanctions regime, but after 23:00 GMT on 31st December 2020, all those designated under regulations made under the Sanctions Act will be on this list.
