OFAC amends the Venezuela Sanctions Regulations

On 21 November 2019 the U.S. Department of the Treasury’s Office of Foreign Assets Control (OFAC) announced it will amend the Venezuela Sanctions Regulations (31 C.F.R. part 591). This amendment will “incorporate additional Executive orders, add a general license authorizing U.S. Government activities, and add an interpretive provision.” The Venezuela Sanctions Regulations amendment is scheduled to be published in the Federal Register on 22 November 2019.
