German customs implements ATLAS-Zelos for submitting customs documents electronically

On 6 November 2019 German customs (Generalzolldirektion, "Zoll") published an informational PDF (in German) entitled “ATLAS: ZELOS electronic document submission” (“ATLAS-Übergreifend: ZELOS-Elektronische Dokumentenvorlage,” ATLAS-Info 3586/19). Zelos ("zentraler Austausch von Unterlagen, Anfragen oder Stellungnahmen") is a new ATLAS application that allows for the electronic submission of customs documents, speeding up clearance for customs offices and operators, as well as cutting down on paper use.
