China Customs announces online feature for self-printing certificates of origin


The General Administration of Customs (GACC) of the People’s Republic of China (PRC) has announced (Announcement No. 77 of 2019) that from 20 May 2019, users are going to have the possibility of self-printing certificates of origin. The new feature will be available via the China International Trade Single Window as well as via the online service platform on GACC’s website.

Among others, the feature of self-printing certificates of origin will apply to the imports of goods which are eligible for preferential treatment under current Free Trade Agreements of which the PRC forms part – such as the China-Switzerland, China-Australia, China-New Zealand, China-Singapore, China-Korea, and China-Chile Free Trade Agreements.
