Notice to our customers regarding Brexit

One of the biggest challenges we face in the immediate future is Brexit. We want to assure you that we are committed to providing the smoothest transitional period possible by monitoring all legislative developments regarding Brexit, both those that come from the UK as well as those originating in the EU.
Compliance
Fortunately, one legislative topic, compliance, has already been determined. The new law "Sanctions and Anti-Money Laundering Act 2018 (the Sanctions Act)" will come into force in the event of the UK exiting the EU without a deal (no-deal Brexit scenario). As usual, we will provide this information to you through multiple data feeds.
Commodity codes
Additionally, in the area of commodity codes, we have positive news. Since the UK is, and will remain, a participant in the World Customs Organisation’s Harmonised System, they do not intend to immediately change any commodity codes. However, their current regulations regarding commodity codes and any future changes will be included in UK legislation after Brexit, rather than in EU legislation.
Free Trade Agreements and Customs Tariffs
Concerning Free Trade Agreements, we are in close contact with the UK’s Department for International Trade. All bilateral agreements made by the UK will be processed and provided to you by PST.AG as soon as possible. Furthermore, we will deliver all national regulations regarding Customs Tariffs to you as usual, via our data feed.
Regardless if the UK leaves the EU with or without a deal, PST.AG will provide the necessary data in a timely manner.

Customs Tariffs
Für Zolltarife liefern wir alle nationalen Vorschriften wie üblich per Daten-Feed an unsere Kunden. Unabhängig davon, ob es ein Vereinbarung oder ein “No-Deal” Szenario geben wird, werden wir die erforderlichen Daten rechtzeitig zur Verfügung stellen.
