UK adopts sanctions review procedures in preparation for EU exit

The United Kingdom has adopted the Sanctions Review Procedure (EU Exit) Regulations 2018, which come into force on 7 January 2019. These regulations include procedures allowing individuals /entities to ‘review, variation or revocation of a designation or ship specification that has been made’ under the Sanctions and Anti-Money Laundering Act 2018.
