Exxon Mobil Oil Corp. pays monetary penalty

The U.S. Department of the Treasury’s Office of Foreign Assets Control (OFAC) has fined $ 2 million to ExxonMobil Corp. and it's subsidiaries ExxonMobil Development Co., and ExxonMobil Oil Corp. in Irving, Texas.

This sanction was a backfire of the eight documents signed by U.S.-based Exxon executives that imposed sanctions on Moscow for annexing Ukraine's Crimea region.
