Mehmet Atilla sanctioned by US government
Mehmet Atilla, CEO of Halkbank based in Turkey, was sanctioned by US.
He was accused in conspiring with Reza Zarrab, an Iranian-Turkish gold trader, to launder vast amount of revenue through the U.S. financial system on behalf of Iran and its companies.
