OFAC and UMI Inc. Settlement Announced
United Medical Instruments (UMI) company based in California agrees to settle potential civil liability with $515,400.
From 2007 to 2009, the medical goods were supposed to supply to Iran but instead facilitated through UAE to Iran. Hence, there has been 56 alleged violations of the Iranian Transactions and Sanctions Regulations under 31 C.F.R. Part 560.
