Civil Monetary Penalties (CMP) imposed for OFAC Sanctions
There has been an increase in Civil Monetary Penalties for violations of sanctions. The new rate is now effective from today February 10th, 2017, with the joint consent of the Office of Foreign Assets Control (OFAC), Bureau of Industry and Security (BIS) and Defense Trade Control (DTC).
