The Department of Treasury announces sanctions on Venezuelan Officials

The Department of Treasury's OFAC announced sanctions on 13 Venezuelan individuals on Wednesday. These individuals are allies of Venezuela's president, Nicolas Maduro.
The intention of this sanction is to give a stern warning to the Venezuelan government just before the widely-protested "constituent assembly" scheduled for Sunday. For complete list of individuals, follow the link here.

Exxon Mobil Oil Corp. pays monetary penalty
The U.S. Department of the Treasury’s Office of Foreign Assets Control (OFAC) has fined $ 2 million to ExxonMobil Corp. and it's subsidiaries ExxonMobil Development Co., and ExxonMobil Oil Corp. in Irving, Texas. This sanction was a backfire of the eight documents signed by U.S.-based Exxon executives that imposed sanctions on Moscow for annexing Ukraine's Crimea region. US expanding sanctions against Iran

BIS is amending the Export Administration Regulations (EAR).
Today, the Bureau of Industry and Security (BIS) is amending the Export Administration Regulations (EAR) to reflect changes to the Missile Technology Control Regime (MTCR). This rule also changes the Commerce Control List (CCL) and other EAR provisions in order to conform with the MTCR Annex.

Russia extends special economic measures
Again, Russia has extended the Presidential Executive Order No. 560 that is On Special Economic Measures of August 6, 2014.
